Promenade mess

Please, whoever is in charge, fix The Promenade parking lot. It’s a mess. The area around the backside of Buffalo Wild Wings and Chick-fil-A is horrible. I feel like I’m driving thru a maze!

What’s more dangerous?

I was reading a gun liability settlement in the deaths of children. It made me think: In Mississippi, you can buy guns and ammunition at Walmart and other stores when buying a gallon of milk or beer but you cannot buy liquor. Liquor must be sold at standalone stores during certain hours and not on Sundays. Which one is the most dangerous?

Grocery store list

Folks would get their wish for a Kroger if the store was allowed to sell wine. The law needs to be changed for a Kroger to locate on the Coast. Voters needs to voice their concern.

Rising gas prices

While we continue to blame President Biden for the rising gas prices, big oil companies are laughing at us in their board rooms as they rake in billions in profits. If you doubt this fact, get off Facebook and Tik Tok and go to Google and search for the last quarter profits of all the major oil suppliers. You’ll be astounded on how much money they have made while prices at the pump continue to escalate.

Where can I buy a fridge?

I need a new refrigerator and I know of only three places — Home Depot, Lowes and Best Buy. I would love some help in choosing which store to buy it from. Which store is the best?

What’s good for the goose

Congress is being pressured to pass a law that will curtail their ability to speculate on the stock market. Since they have inside knowledge on laws that affect stocks, they have an unfair advantage. Yet it is a crime for anyone else. Just ask Martha Stewart.

Trash on Seaman Road

Do any Jackson County supervisors ever ride down Seaman Road? Are you totally embarrassed by the amount of trash on the side of the road? Well, I’m embarrassed for you. Cannot believe nothing can be done about it. You may want to drive the interstate also. Surely you guys are smart enough to figure it out.
