A terrible overreach

I believe in proper decorum, but principal Michael Weaver has has carried his dress code enforcement to the absurd. Sending the young West Wortham Elementary and Middle School girl to in-school suspension is a terrible overreach. I’m a Catholic and attend mass every Sunday. I routinely see young (and not so young) women women going to communion dressed similarly to Shiloh Fore. Judge not, lest ye be judged. I attended grade school in the 1970’s when the mini skirts were in vogue. Weaver would have lost his mind. Lighten up.

D’Iberville roundabout

The roundabout is not “poor engineering.” Getting hit in a roundabout does not cause a death unless someone drives at a high rate of speed and drives straight across as if speeding through a four-way stop. I use a roundabout and there are drivers who speed up to cut in front of me. Those recent deaths at this roundabout had nothing to do with the roundabout. I know, I was there.

The only way

Fix the school dress problem by requiring uniforms for all.

Vaccinations work

My husband and I got COVID for the first time. We both got vaccinated and he got a second booster because he had an immune deficiency disease. After testing positive, he got an antibody infusion. We both only had mild symptoms and have tested negative after quarantining. We still wear mask indoors in public spaces.
