School dress code

So disappointed that a school administrator seems to have spent his day policing young girls on where their fingertips landed on their hoodies.

Dress code police

Don’t you think that teachers and principals have a more important mission than becoming the dress code police? What difference does an inch or two matter when all body parts are covered?

No such thing as free college

There is no such thing as “free” college. It’s merely branding to sway the large number of minds made of mush in America. You might not pay tuition while earning a degree, but you will have the honor of paying higher taxes after you graduate to fund college for those who come after you. Over a lifetime, you will likely pay more than you would have just for yourself.

Shoplifting

I am so tired of seeing shoplifting. What is wrong with this country?

Rules are rules

In response to the article on the girl being suspended at West Wortham, it’s clear from the picture that the girl had to stretch the hoodie with her hands to get it past her fingertips. I guess she’s going to keep the hoodie pulled down all day too? Get a grip. Rules are rules and if you break them you have to deal with the consequences. Her father should know that since he’s a police officer.
