Coast Republican furious with GOP

I have been a Republican all of my adult life. I have to say I have been ashamed of what my party has done over the past six years but never so much as today. The censure document adopted by the Republican National Committee describes the individuals involved with the storming of the Congress as “ordinary citizens engaged in legitimate political discourse.” Normal political discourse stopped the moment they violently engaged police on the Capitol steps when it became a riot. By entering the Capitol, they crossed the line from riot to treason. Maybe the RNC should ask themselves what would Ronald Reagan have to say about this document and their actions.

A dangerous charade

Just imagine a country hostile to the U.S. creates a deadly virus and quickly infects members of our forces all over the world. Our scientists quickly and successfully create an effective vaccine. However, we lose the battle because we allow anti-vaxxers to carry on their dangerous charade.

Congress should work together

Congress should be like an All Star team. Players come from different teams, but all work together for the win.

The right move

I agree with discharging non-vaccinated military. Who wants to be deployed in close quarters with them? Find a job away from any contact with people. There’s a lot of remote tech jobs out there.

Keep the military healthy

Vaccinated people are about 80-90% protected from getting COVID. But that percentage is way better than no protection and intensive care with a tube down your throat. Our military needs to do all it can to keep healthy.
