IQ test

Do you want evidence that people are not taking the pandemic seriously? Go to any place of business. Look at the percentage of people not wearing masks. Masks are the simplest, cheapest and least invasive way to stop transmission and it doesn’t involve anything going into your body. A Sound Offer recently said the pandemic is turning into an IQ test. He was right.

Server manners

Here is how to make your customers feel welcome and want to return. If you see them enter with a mask, greet them with a mask and take the order with the mask. I guarantee they will remember you kindness and pass it on to others.

Make it legal

Why all the fuss about medical and/or legalized marijuana in Mississippi? For almost 60 years, it has been all over the place. Anyone who wants it can get it “under the counter” or on the “black market.” Like alcohol, the state should just legalize it, tax it, and the world would be a better place and law enforcement would have one less thing to worry about. Driving while stoned? Yes, DUI just like alcohol, but that’s another fish to fry.

Media coverage

Just how much longer will the Sun Herald continue to cover for the incompetent Biden administration? The presser today showed just how out of touch Biden is.

Promises made

Follow the science? Pure bunk. Might as well believe in witch doctors. These so called talking head experts have not got nothing right. The American public was sold a bill of goods with the COVID vaccine. We will booster for the rest of our lives. Nothing spoken about natural immunity, other medical procedures or medication available to fight this curse from China. I am an angry American who is tired of excuses. President Biden made promises that he had the answer to this problem. He does not.

Good story

With all of the negative stories regarding Chicago, it inspiring to read about the work of Pastor Corey Brooks. What an amazing example he is setting for minority communities.

Perjury?

Republican politicians lie loudly and publicly that the presidential election was stolen from Trump. Yet, when they appear in court, they are careful not to make that claim. The reason? They know it’s against the law to lie in court.

Let’s do better

I applaud the development of Cowan Road. This is progress. Now let’s do something about Tegarden Road. It has a lot of traffic mixed with residential and businesses. But it is too narrow, has no sidewalk and is usually used to dump trash. It is embarrassing and reflects poorly on tourists who travel this road from the beach.

Hoping to help

Hospitals should hire retired nurses as temps by making the process easy and flexible. Many of us would be glad to be useful, but recruiters seem more interested in hiring contractors.
