The media
It seems the entity in this country putting the most energy into creating as much divisiveness as possible is the media. It is almost impossible to find a news source reporting facts not colored by an intentional bias. The media had an important role in our county that they have willfully abandoned in search of power and money.
Better headline
The headline asked the wrong question, “Does my child have to wear a mask at school?“ It should have asked, “Does my child get to wear a mask at school?“ It’s their first line of defense.
High costs
I keep reading that President Biden is responsible for the inflation we are facing now. I just read an article that says the real problem is that our supply of goods is not meeting our demand. Our supply is insufficient because of COVID. We are still having this supply problem because people won’t get vaccinated and end this pandemic. The only way we know how to end this pandemic is by way of vaccinations. If you are an anti-vaxxer, your choice is costing you money.
Showing compassion
I have plenty of compassion, just not for a dangerous intoxicant. If you think this is all about “medical” marijuana, then come see me. I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
Staying safe
Good thing my parents were responsible and smart to keep me safe from polio and other viruses. The political foolishness about vaccine shots has caused lots of sickness to be spread.
Voter restrictions
Responsible citizens would like to know exactly what Republicans are pushing on federal voter restrictions. McConnell says Democrats are lying about it. Would be good for Sun Herald to publish the restrictions to find ground truth rather than blindly following a political party.
Some questions
Could someone please explain to me why the federal government gets to allocate the monoclonal antibody treatments? Why can’t individual states and/or hospitals order directly from the company making this drug? They could pay for them with all the pandemic funds sent to each state.
A little help?
The ABC and the CBS channels here have a bad interruption on their feed. It skips parts of the shows. Live ones and recorded programs. It’s highly aggravating. I can’t watch a single program on any of these channels without several disruptions. I don’t know if it’s the satellite feed, or what. Just fix it, please.
New parties
Democrats are dragging their feet. Makes me think they are just as guilty as Republicans. We need two new parties and to heck with the old ones.
