Be responsible

The people I know who got COVID did what they shouldn’t have been doing — not wearing masks, not getting vaccinated, not getting boosters and traveling internationally. I haven’t had a life for the past 2 years, and now people have made my patience run out. Get over yourselves. You’re going to get me sick, you selfish people.

New CDC guidelines

The new CDC guidelines are setting people up for spreading COVID. Everyone I know at work who got sick this week were vaccinated and were told since they were vaccinated they could come to work sick. Are you kidding me? In the past if someone had the flu, they were told to stay home. Now, they’re told it’s OK that they come to work when they’re sick. My employer is setting me up to get COVID.

Ambulance service

High time we get a new or an additional ambulance service here in Gulfport. The current service doesn’t appear to be able to handle the load anymore. I hear on the scanner many a times that the current service has no ambulance available. With a population that we have, that’s unacceptable. Get your heads out your rears, politicians, and do something.

Read the obits

I don’t know if anyone else has been noticing, but the Sunday paper’s obituaries have been increasing. This virus is wiping out baby boomers, our grandparents and their siblings. All for the sake of individual freedoms.

COVID vaccines

There has to be a better way to promote COVID vaccines. Enough with the injections. We are sick of seeing “shots in the arm”.
