Ticket the duck hunters

I live near Eagle Point in Biloxi. Since when did duck hunting inside city limits become legal? Or discharging of firearms within city limits (shotguns for duck hunting)? I have and will continue to call Biloxi police until they do something about it. Police say there is nothing they can do? Here’s an idea: ticket the shooters and maybe they’ll go somewhere where gunfire and hunting are legal. Have some respect for people that live in the area. I’m sure you wouldn’t want me shooting my shotgun in your back yard at 7:00 a.m.

Thank you, highway patrol

Thank you, Mississippi Highway Patrol, for working Seaman Road in Jackson County. Speeding has been out of control there for a long time. Please don’t let up. Save some lives.

Capitol riots

As a conservative Republican, I am disgusted by the events of a year ago. These law-breaking individuals must be held accountable. What I do not understand is why rioters in the (generally liberal) cities are not being held accountable with the same furor and media coverage as the Capitol gangs. Assaulting police and destroying property is wrong and breaking the law regardless who or where you are.

Chick-fil-A & COVID

Some people are just mean and hateful. Politicizing the COVID-19 pandemic has led people to lose their perspective. Criticizing Chick-fil-A for closing their dining room is unfair. They are just trying to protect their staff and customers! One cannot possibly call the Chick-fil-A drive through “slow,“ they have the most efficient system of any fast food facility. Are the lines long at peak periods? Yes, indeed, but they flow very rapidly. Be kind.
