Enough already
Can we please have an end to the debate about guns, cars, knives or whatever being to blame? Whatever the weapon of choice, if it’s being used by a person for the purpose of killing, it is the killer who is responsible. It’s really that simple.
Climate change woes
I’m not a climate denier. Anyone who took science in school knows that weather patterns come and go — and some can last thousands of years. Where I have a problem is when the new world order, our government or some “do good” organization wants Americans to throw money at the problem when the biggest polluters are our enemies. Does not make sense.
Guns kill
All the insane analogies defending guns are just that. We have more guns in America than people with little or no enforced. WE had seven young folks shot on New Year’s Eve in Gulfport. Don’t tell me guns don’t kill.
Yes or no to no income tax?
If we decide on no income tax, we will be like Florida. High gas, grocery and other taxes. Toll roads and bridges will be common. Rich people will buy up property from other states and make Mississippi there “permanent address” so they won’t have to pay their state income tax. Florida is a retirement haven. But there could be a silver lining. If you use it, you pay for it. No one in the Delta would pay a penny for Popp’s Ferry toll bridge and and we wouldn’t pay for theirs.
