The person, not the gun
What makes you believe you have to have a gun to shoot someone? There were bows and arrows before they had guns and they did a good job of killing people. You don’t blame cars for killing people, you blame the driver. It’s the same thing when someone shoots someone. It’s not the gun.
What will it take?
All you climate change deniers, what will it take to convince you that we need to take this seriously?
Don’t compare cars to guns
You must take a test and pass it to obtain a driver’s license to drive an automobile. You must also obtain insurance to legally drive a car on the public highway. Ironically, you cannot get an abortion in Mississippi without jumping through hoops. But you can buy a gun without anyone ever even seeing you.
Mayor is responsible
I don’t care who the mayor of Biloxi is, and I don’t care if the streets were a mess when he was elected. The fact is, Andrew “Fofo” Gillich is the mayor now, and as such, he is responsible for the safety of the citizens and to provide us with safe streets to drive on. Put that bandage on, patch the trouble areas until the problems with the project are resolved. We deserve safe streets.
Medical pot crosses party lines
Responding to the statement that Mississippi will have to wait until the liberals vote in a governor for the legalization of marijuana: Seventy-four percent of the population voted for the legalization. If 74% of Mississippi voters were liberals, Tate Reeves never would have been governor.
