Gulfport road work
In my Gulfport neighborhood, it seems as if all infrastructure worked stopped with the announcement of possible federal infrastructure money. The holes are getting so deep the orange cones barely poke above road level.
What about East Biloxi?
Biloxi city spokesman Vincent Creel talks about some great new projects in Biloxi but the question is: When is the disaster in East Biloxi getting wrapped up?
The income tax plan
I don’t know if I like or dislike the governor’s idea about eliminating the income tax. As far as I know, he hasn’t produced a plan. Please, Gov. Tate Reeves, don’t act like an empty suit. Put some meat on the bones of your idea and give us something to consider.
More on voting
When a person registers to vote, he or she has to have proof of identity, including a valid ID as well as a social security number. The person’s is entered on the voting roles, and when that person shows up to vote, his or her name is checked off. If someone different comes along and claims to be that person, there would be an immediate check to see why two people are claiming this right to vote. Neither person’s vote would be counted as valid until an investigation is conducted.
Explain to me how non-citizens can register to vote in the first place. Then explain to me why a non-citizen would want to register to vote in the first place knowing that he or she would possibly be found-out and deported.
Guns kill
These kinds of shooting deaths will continue and only get worse if civilians keep arming up. There won’t be a way to stop it. Yes people shoot and kill but without guns that stops.
