Safe driving

I recently took an online safe driving course through AARP. It was very useful. It taught me such things as not driving slowly in the left lane, always using the turn indicator when making a turn and not following vehicles too closely. I would recommend this course for all drivers, young and old, because many drivers are oblivious to the safe driving practices.

No respect?

The Holiday Tour of Homes in our neighborhood was wonderful and well attended. The main conversation at the conclusion reception at the Centennial Chapel centered around how unsafe the folks felt walking on the sidewalk from house to house. Those attending were amazed at the speed of the vehicles on Second Street with total disregard for the pedestrians. Is it going to take an accident to get the attention of law enforcement? Second Street is an attraction that gets no respect.

Priority patients?

Medical staff and hospitals are being overwhelmed again by COVID patients. It’s time for medical triage to begin. When vaccinated and unvaccinated people arrive at a hospital or need an ambulance, the vaccinated should have priority over the unvaccinated. The unvaccinated chose to reject medical advice. They should not be equal in priority to those who followed medical advice.

Fair elections

Here we go again folks. The liberals are losing terribly in the polls and they can plainly see the writing on the walls for the 2022 mid-term elections. Now the new rallying cry will be “voting rights.” In other words, voting rights for those that are not citizens. The liberals want the federal government to run “fair elections.” Yeah, right. I knew when liberals were pushing mail-in ballots Trump was DOA in 2020. I am no conspiracy theorist but there were shenanigans in the 2020 presidential election and until someone digs a bit deeper the truth will never come out.

President for life

Despotic politicians and the authoritarian Republican Party are systematically destroying democracy and the leaders of Russia, China and North Korea and others are delighted to see this. They understand that Trump has great interest in joining them as president for life of the United States.

Beach view

This is to the Sound Offer who said people on north side of Beach Boulevard paid for a beach view. Wrong. If they wanted a guaranteed beach view, they should have built on south side. People who bought on the south side have just as many rights to build on the property they own, as those on the north side. If you want a beach view, spend money and buy on the south side.

COVID transmission

To all of you up on your high horse, you can transmit COVID to others just like the unvaccinated. The vaccine can lower your risk of complications but not your ability to infect others.

Lots of news

Received a notice that my Social Security check would increase by 5.9% which was good news. This was followed by not so good news that my Medicare premium would increase by 15%.

Fair story?

The hit piece by the Los Angeles Times against FOX in the Sun Herald over the Capital riot is indicative of the liberal gibberish that never, ever gets challenged. Shame on the Sun Herald for not printing a rebuttal. But then again, you are who you are.
