Gulfport garbage pickup

Folks, if you live in Gulfport and your garbage cart is not emptied on its scheduled day(s), call 311. I repeat,311 and let the city know. Whether anything will be done is debatable but we are paying $16.97 per month for twice-weekly garbage pickup. Do you think the city will let us deduct an amount if they miss a day?

Nice beach homes

I think the beach houses are going to be very nice. I had thought for years someone needed to do that. There is several lots left for the people who don’t want development can buy.

Main COVID spreaders

Since people ages 25 to 39 has the most COVID cases, then they should have to wear masks, get vaccinated and have to show proof of vaccination before entering any public space. You’re the main spreaders, so it’s time to be accountable for spreading it to others.

Get the booster

Just got my COVID booster shot. Happy to do my part and try to save some lives.

COVID & polio

Yes, COVID is exactly like polio in the sense that both kill people. They are two different diseases, but the results are the same. When I was a child, we all feared polio. When the vaccine came out, we all took it. I was 5 years old, and I remember feeling relieved when I ate the vaccine-laden sugar cube. Sure enough, there is no more polio thanks to quarantine and vaccines. Since this is the only way that medical science knows how to stop a pandemic, this is what we do. So do it for your loved ones.
