Research the facts

I have heard conservatives say that they don’t trust many popular fact-checking sites. They are profit-making businesses like any other business. If they do not offer a quality product, they will go out of business. Any fact-checking site that does not offer pure facts will not survive. It’s human nature to be disappointed when we read a legitimate fact that disagrees with our opinion, but accepting facts helps us grow to be more tolerant and intelligent.

Low vaccination rates

I read that Hancock County residents only have a 32% COVID vaccination rate. Why?

Death penalty vs. abortion

The death penalty and abortion have noting to do with each other. They are mutually exclusive events. The death penalty is just punishment for the crime committed. Abortion of an unborn baby should be a crime.

An existing gun law

With the parents being charged in the Michigan School shooting, why are people shocked? The Youth Handgun Safety Act of 1994 prohibits minor from possessing a handgun or ammunition for a handgun with few exceptions. Once again, people ignore the truth. We have laws. What is lacking is enforcement. Every time there is a handgun found possessed by a juvenile, effort should be taken to determine who owned the handgun and hold them responsible. Serial numbers are traceable. Adults, parent and others are responsible for the safe storage and controlled access of a handgun. Why doesn’t the ATF get answers when minors are involved?

Come get your squirrels

In response to more information about disappearing squirrels, I think they all came to my yard in Ocean Springs. I have about 20 running around. Please come take them back.
