Free birth control

If we are not going to allow abortion, even in the case of rape or incest, then we should allow free birth control to all that want it. This is common sense to aid women being in control of what happens to them. It will mostly help poor women who need to continue working for the children already here.

Leave Palazzo alone

The anti-Cong. Steven Palazzo group seems to have a pretty big megaphone in Sound Off. How does Palazzo get re-elected? I and everyone I know re-elect him because of his solid conservative voting record. That is what we sent him there to do.

Medical marijuana bill

I would bet 10 to one that if the legislature approves medical marijuana, the governor will veto the bill.

We want sidewalks

Engineers are measuring for a tennis court at Gulfport High. We want sidewalks!

No mystery

I think your squirrels went to better oak trees to eat all the acorns that are all over the place. No mystery.

Squirrels and pecans

I have several feeders that are usually dominated by my squirrel population. There are also seven Live oaks in my yard that are loaded with acorns this year and the squirrels are eating them nonstop. Also, the squirrels temporarily abandon my feeders when my neighbor’s pecan trees are producing.
