Reeves doesn’t understand

Gov. Tate Reeves needs to understand that businesses wanting to locate here also need healthy, educated workers. We are the worst in the nation in health and education fields and he isn’t doing enough to change that. All he’s thinking about is Critical Race Theory. We need a new governor.

No special laws

If you are ordered to appear in court or hearing, you cannot just choose to not appear. A warrant would be issued for your arrest. Now that’s privilege when you feel you should not obey laws and no one will do anything.

Workforce issues

An estimated 4.4 million workers voluntarily quit their jobs in the month of September, according to government data. That rate, relative to total employment, is 3%, which is the highest on record. It’s being called the Great Resignation because almost 24 million workers have left their jobs since April. Some cite better opportunities, pandemic burnout and a shift in priorities but there are at least 10.4 million jobs available right now. Where is everyone going? In the new infrastructure bill and the next proposed spending bill are additional handouts to various groups of people. Is that the best strategy? Is that contributing to a workforce that seems to be shifting to idle?

Not the same

Any adverse reaction to the vaccine is not comparable to the possibility of death from COVID-19.

Where’s Joe Biden?

Looks like “Hidin’ Biden” is back in the cellar with his dismal approval rating! How many out there have “buyers remorse” for electing Joe Biden as president?

Things are looking up

Very happy about the passing of the infrastructure bill. President Joe Biden really came through. The effects won’t be immediate but many jobs will be created and we’ll be a stronger country. At the next election, let’s vote for those who will do what’s in the best interest of their constituents and the country instead of partisan politics.
