Inflation deflection

President Joe Biden’s policies to fight inflation reminds me of the suggestion of spending your way out of bankruptcy. All the while diverting America’s attention away from the border crisis.

Palazzo mailer

I just received a card from Rep. Steven Palazzo saying, “Liberals claim Americans no longer value patriotism and service to our country.” I am a liberal and I revere and value patriotism and service to our country. It is despicable that he lied about this and used tax money to mail out the lie to thousands of people.

Stop complaining about Keesler pharmacy

I am tired of people griping about the Keesler Air Force Base pharmacy. I also receive that benefit after 22 years of active duty and I am very thankful for the benefits I get for that service. The minor inconveniences that are being expressed are a small price to pay for free medication. I think the Keesler pharmacy personnel do an excellent job. If you want better service, go pay for it.

The coal issues

There is no such thing as clean-burning coal. Natural gas has the huge drawback of being obtained through fracking. Fracking causes earthquakes (check out fracking earthquakes in Oklahoma), uses vast amounts of water and blasts toxic chemicals into the earth. The videos of fire coming out of the water faucet are the result of fracking.

Pros and cons of Critical Race Theory

I do not think public school students should be taught a curriculum that causes them to feel responsible and guilty for things in which they had no involvement. I do think students should be taught things that horrify them because of the ignorance, cruelty, exploitation and discrimination involved.
