Division blues

Our country is so divided that we are even divided about how we became divided.

100 years

Happy birthday Kiwanis, 100 years of service to our Gulfport community! Thank you so much!

Arrogance

Looks like the arrogance of Harrison County supervisors destroyed Coastal Mississippi. How dare an elected official call a very-well educated business leader on the board of directors “dumb. “As for as the CEO, a smart community will be getting a leader with proven results.

Embarrassing

We need to get rid of the Harrison County Board of Supervisors. They have evolved into an embarrassing, childish, self-serving entity operating more like a secret social group doling out favors to their cronies and lining their pockets than a governmental department.

Shootout

Have not heard of any arrests for the shooting during Cruisin’ The Coast. Hard to believe that two cars could have a shootout and drive down 90 during peak cruising and not get caught, or at least someone having them on video.

Raised flag

A raised flag, in itself, carries no emotive essence. The message comes from the hearts and minds viewing and interpreting the symbols prevalent on that flag. For instance, I have developed an affinity for the Israeli flag as well as that of the USA.
