One view
The higher the vaccination rate, the higher the cases of COVID. Fact. If you don’t already know this, you are poorly informed.
Not hypocritical
People are not hypocrites because they do not want the COVID shot, especially those who have had COVID and recovered. If a recovered person has antibodies, why get the shot? The “science” doesn’t add up. This shot isn’t even as effective as the flu shot, which you only get once a year.
Making a choice
This is for you folks too afraid to get a little shot. Get your mama to go with you and hold your hand. Or maybe all of the shipyard workers who want to “wait for more research” have an advanced science degree, or excuse #1 above applies. It’s simple, get vaccinated, go to work and pay your bills. Or don’t get vaccinated, stay home, and don’t pay your bills. See? You do have a choice.
Fear of needles
I’m personally not a needle phobic. However, I have family members and friends that are needle phobic. I think the media is making a big error by showing vaccine injections over and over on TV. It makes many individuals very uncomfortable and less likely to receive the vaccine due to the fear of needles.
Eating out
After being on lockdown for so many months, we have started to eat out again. I understand the labor shortage, but really, did all of the good chefs leave the coast? There is only one lunch spot that is still consistently good. Forget upscale dinner establishments. I know prices are going up but it seems like the ones that have had the largest price increases have the worst food. My list of “never again“ keeps growing. Last night was another one.
Old mantra?
Remember “fair and balanced,” Fox News’ old head fake mantra? Fox quietly retired it years ago after it had become embarrassingly ridiculous.
Bad call
Oh joy! The Biden administration is going to open up federal offshore lands and encourage leasing for wind farms around our coasts that will leave only a smidgen of the arctic untouched. All to meet ridiculous clean energy goals. What views that will be. Migratory birds will be slaughtered in droves until perhaps they change routes. Guaranteed there will be downstream unintended consequences. It’s the government after all.
Government interference
Mississippi Center for Public Policy, the combat organization fighting to save our children from reality, released a report citing too much government intervention and regulation as the cause for the ills afflicting our state. It then recommends the government intervene, and ban the teaching of critical race theory. Apparently it’s only tyranny if its the government forcing policies on you that you disagree with.
The border
Despite what the Biden-Harris administration says, our southern border is wide open. The true number of illegal migrants turned loose into the U.S. is hidden from the public. Leaked border documents show 160,000 were released without any supervision.
