Crepe murder

Could not believe my eyes. A tree service was on Main Street in the Bay this weekend. Crepe murderers in the true sense of the word! Cut back over two third of the trees. Plus it is still September! Really?

Free pass

I just returned from a business trip to Mexico. I was questioned by Homeland Security, Customs and Border protection, an airline ticketing agent, Mexican Customs agent and a Mexican military agent. I also had Covid tests. So why is it that thousands crossing the border get a free pass?

Horse (non)sense

For the snowflakes in the Biden administration with their pants in a twist over use of horses for crowd control at the border, I have this advice: Don’t go to the French Quarter for Mardi Gras. No one was “whipped.” Riders twirl reins so the horse will see it and move in the opposite direction.

Tide land

SOS Watson gave an $2M check to DMR for 23 projects, totaling $5.7M, obviously his home county getting the largest amount. Not a single penny for Long Beach piers, West Side pier, Eure pier, Moses pier, Courthouse pier — all destroyed! How much more Tide Land must a need be?

Just wondering

Do you think it might be a good idea to purchase flood insurance if you live next to a river? Everyone knows just because you don’t live in a flood zone that there is a possibility of your property flooding especially if you are next to a river.

Anti-vaxxers

The large number of people who refuse to get vaccinated are extremely selfish and are the direct cause of many thousands of unnecessary deaths in America. This plague would be over now if everyone were vaccinated.
