Mandate hate

Since our governor and AG feel it is their patriotic duty to sue the president for his vaccine mandate, maybe they should include our public schools in that lawsuit since they mandate at least six vaccines. While they’re at it, why not include our U.S. military too.

Freedom

There are constitutional limits on your personal freedom when it impacts the safety, health and welfare of your fellow citizens.

Anti-vax

Why should it make any difference to a vaccinated individual if another isn’t vaccinated? If the vaccines work then you are protected. Leave the unvaccinated to make their own decision, you look foolish.

What freedom?

The unvaccinated have taken away my rights and freedom. I avoid public events, going into stores. I haven’t traveled. I haven’t eaten in a restaurant. Those choosing not to get vaccinated have taken away my rights and freedom. I deserve to have a healthy life. Why do they get freedom?

Not the mayor

Not mayor’s fault. The city councilman you voted for is responsible for driving around in their ward and making sure grass is cut and trash is removed. Councilman are the people that you see going door to door asking for votes, then disappear until next election.

Unemployment

An article is in Friday’s Sun Herald about unemployment claims rise in the U.S.! Will some please tell me why this is when there is more than 8,000,000 job openings in the country? Oh yea, COVID and getting paid to stay home!

Comparison

Some might balk at this comparison, but here are the similarities. Both causes of severe bodily harm are largely preventable — COVID-19 through vaccination, and drunk driving by not driving after drinking alcohol. Both are individual decisions with societal consequences.
