School masking
It is apparent some school districts are not going to protect our children from COVID this year. The current information shows an exponential rise in cases, and masking is not being required. The logical result is kids get covid. Is this “what is best for children?”
Save the children
If the government is so bent on people dying from COVID, then overturn Roe v. Wade and save the unborn children from being killed.
Be smart
Harrison County School Board President Rena Wiggins wants masks to be a choice for our school children. While she and the rest of the Coast schools are not mandating for the health of these same kids, New Orleans reports today 19 children in the ICUs and four on ventilators.
Let live
I am going to invoke some wisdom from Hank Williams: Mind your own business. Stop trying impose your will on others, and pay attention to yourself and your own house. If your opinion is different, then fine. But stop trying to force your opinion on others. Live and let live.
Anger
I pray daily to be of open mind, but the July 30 Sound Off is depressing. Four children have died in MS, and parents are living their worst nightmare. You cannot smoke in a public building, you cannot drink and drive, and you have to have vaccination records to go to school. Quit being political!
Main Street
As a long time resident of old town Bay St. Louis and former business owner I am shocked at how run down Main Street is. And I am not alone. It seems like every time I see a former customer the comments are all the same! What a shame!
