Conviction
Philip Gunn cited his Christian conviction when he changed his mind about the Mississippi flag. Maybe he should re-look at Medicare expansion.
Welfare of MS
The governor is responsible for the people of Mississippi. He is currently being less than responsible concerning the virus. He has taken no actions to protect us as the virus spreads. I know mandates are not popular, but sometimes unpopular actions are required for the welfare of all citizens.
More hot air
Could “What Goes Up” be more specific on the plea to do more about global warming? Exactly what will make any tangible, measurable difference? Cite the action and the science. Otherwise you’re contributing to the hot air.
Buggy problem
One reason the quarter-per-buggy plan failed was that you had to keep an eye on the cart the entire time; otherwise, there was a good chance it would be “stolen.” This not only caused the loss of your quarter but resulted in major inconvenience in having to get another buggy and restart your shopping.
Limit breakers
To “Left lane,” the writer stated, “left hand drivers, simply move over to right lane to allow traffic to pass using the left lane.” The writer should have stated, “left lane drivers, move over to right lane to allow traffic to break the speed limit in the left lane.”
East-West road
Dont hold your breath. It’ll be a long time coming. I seem to recall talk of extending Pops Ferry Road to Highway 90 right after Hurricane Camille, how is it working out? That’s only a half mile of road.
Get vaccinated
Why do you keep asking questions about the vaccine? How many pills, substances and foods have you put in your body over the years without questioning or reading the label? If you end up with COVID, you will not be questioning what is being put into your body to save your life.
