Sound Off for Sept. 23, 2020

Bar experience

Recently a gentleman and two friends went in to a local bar when there were two tropical disturbances in the Gulf and ordered two hurricane drinks and a Corona beer. The bartender replied: That will be $ 20.20!

Back to normal

Proof that 2020 is starting to return to normal: Saints favored by 5 and lose by 10.

Pitiful

Saints were raggedy Monday night. They must have stayed out on the Vegas strip all night

Hurricanes and boats

Not sure why so many boats were destroyed or damaged during Hurricane Sally that hit the Alabama/Florida coast. When a hurricane approaches the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the harbors are empty of boats which of course not only saves the boats but also the harbors from damage. You would think that the people who owned boats along the coast in Alabama and Florida would move hem to safe harbor. By leaving them in the harbors it not only damages them but of course increases the insurance rates for all.

Tax collector

ow do I choose a new tax collector? What background does a tax collector need and who that is running meets those qualifications? I don’t know!

Law enforcement

If you want to see kids underage driving golf carts, come over to Bay St. Louis and see it happening all over inside the city limits and nothing is done about it. Kids not old enough to drive, not wearing seat belts, with other kids hanging onto the back of the cart. It’s dangerous and just a matter of time before a tragedy happens.

You are what you support

If you hate being called a racist, then stop defending racist things.
