First Sound Off

My first Sun Herald just arrived today and the Sound Off had a person stating “they were from a military family,” and agrees with comments by Trump saying John McCain’s no hero. I’d bet their parent or parents that served in the military would be ashamed and embarrassed by you. I would double the bet you’ve never served anything but yourself. Mr. John McCain is this veteran’s flawless example of an American hero!

Steele dossier

What did McCain do to be so disliked by Trump? Have you ever heard of the Steele dossier? It was McCain who sent his staff to London to bring it back and deliver it to the Democrats at the FBI. All knowing it was a fabricated lie paid for by the DNC.

Never forget

Every 9-11, as I watch the ceremonies, I get very emotional. This year it is more so. We hear the names of the thousands that were killed in the attacks, and are also reminded of the police and other first responders that lost their lives running into the crumbling, burning buildings. Today many are denigrating and attacking these police. Never forget that or that horrible attack 19 years ago.

Just like Churchill?

Winston Churchill was advised and well aware that Germany posed a monumental threat to Britain in the early days of WWII, and that England could not survive a full-on attack, yet he downplayed that scenario to keep the English from panicking and to bolster morale. That is not unlike what President Trump did during our pandemic attack. Both realized that, in time, their country would overcome the emergency if their people did not lose hope.

Narcissism

Trump gave the journalist bob Woodward 18 interviews, so don’t complain about what is revealed. Once again Trump’s narcissism is displayed. He probably was so flattered that such an award winning journalist was interested in writing about him.
