Stay impartial
Since when does the media praise one candidate during their convention and bash the other candidate during his? Aren’t they supposed to be impartial? Isn’t the convention supposed to be the chance for each candidate to “have their moment?” Modern day journalism is not objective at all. It can’t be trusted to give an honest news story because they have forgotten what their job is supposed to be. George Stephanopoulos, I don’t care what your personal opinion is. Do your job. Let’s see if this newspaper knows how to be impartial, or if you too have forgotten what your role in the world is.
Coin shortage
Yes, I do know that there is a coin shortage and why. My point was that one of the top big box retailers in the country is not accepting cash. You seem to be a smart person so I am sure you know that most banks gauge amounts of coin orders on the amount of deposits by that retailer. I cannot find another Walmart that is not accepting cash. Sounds like an isolated issue and I am curious about why. Possibly their cash office is not used to placing change orders.
Regular person
I am an American Democrat. I am not a pedophile. I don’t drink children’s blood. I am not in a cabal to overthrow the government. Please don’t say or believe such awful things about Democrats. It’s terribly unfair.
Wear your mask
My wife and I just returned from Walmart in Biloxi and saw many individuals with masks hanging loosely around their neck or covering only their chin. No obvious attempts by Walmart employees to enforce the mask mandate by the governor. Apparently the almighty dollar is more important than the safety of customers.
Mail issues
Something must be going on with the postal service this month. I mailed a check off and the recipient never got it. Had to stop payment on the original and sent another. That cost me an extra $36. Thanks a lot, USPS.
Walking the dog
I was walking my dog and a guy stopped me to ask about my dog. He soon asked me who I was going to vote for and I said Biden. He didn’t think much of that and said Trump was the only good choice. I asked him if he wanted to protect the environment and he said yes. I said if he did he should not vote for Trump. He said why’s that. I said that Trump was doing everything he could to get rid of all environmental protections. I could see his wheels turning and he said, “Is that right?” He didn’t know. I guess he just liked Trump’s style, but had never looked into his policies.
Muffle the press?
I see the principal of Christian Collegiate Academy slapped a legal warning on messages to the parents warning them to not share the info with anyone. So, what is it now? Muffle the press so no one questions you?
Sports knowledge
I didn’t even know the NBA and MLB were still playing.
