I see Principal Roberts at Christian Collegiate Academy is right up on her science about how the coronavirus spreads. Perhaps she needs to enroll herself in one of her own science classes?

Dear ‘your comfort’

I have been reading Sound Off since it's inception and the post on Wednesday the 26th about the pandemic being over on Nov. 4 is without the dumbest ever. I have two relatives that have had the virus and believe me it is real and it is dangerous.

No masks = no spread

Christian Collegiate Academy has reported multiple cases of student COVID19. The school chose to completely ignore Gov. Reeves’ mandate for masks, and now kids are sick and more COVID is unnecessarily being spread throughout our community. How selfish.

Swim and socialize

Would like to know if Harrison County supervisors have any intentions of opening the senior centers in the near future. That nice swimming pool at the D’Iberville Seniors Center is just waiting impatiently for seniors to come on in and have fun. It must be safe from covid 19 because the Biloxi Natatorium Pool is open to the public and they don’t seem to be having any problems. I am an old fish that likes to swim and socialize.

Not welcome

Leave it to Mississippi to put “In God We Trust” on their new state flag. No, not every religion has some kind of God. Buddhism comes to mind, and I am sure there are more. Mississippi’s lack of tolerance is nothing new. Now we know for sure that Jewish and Muslim people as well as people of other religions are not represented by the Mississippi flag. Are they not welcome here?

Boat accident

The boat accident last weekend was tragic. RIP Ms. Sekul and Mr. Mallett. Who were the people in the other boat? Haven't seen anything about that.

Quarantine chic

According to decluttering experts, if you haven't worn an item in your closet in a year, get rid of it. After 2020, a lot of us are going to be left with nothing but sweat pants and flip flops.
