Why is Harrison County School District not releasing COVID numbers while other coast schools are? I realize it’s not mandatory but I can only assume the reason is because the numbers are high! My daughter told me numerous students have been sent home at the high school.
Above the nose
Parents, please instruct your child on the proper way to wear a mask! It is useless when it’s below the nose. I am tired of telling the same students everyday to pull up their mask. It’s putting me and other students at a greater risk of COVID!
Sandbags in Biloxi
How can the city recommend the boaters to move their boats but cannot provide sand for sandbags? This is ridiculous!
Terrorists
Would someone at the Sun Herald explain to Isabella Taft what antifa is? They are terrorists, pure and simple.
Fear
Why are you afraid of Black people gathering in one place? It’s not like they have a history or lynching and shooting unarmed people. Or showing up armed and ready to fight.
Takeover?
Your Facebook rumors story begs two questions: 1. Is Mississippi full of crazy rednecks and 2. why would anybody want to take over Picayune?
Official guidance
Another hurricane and another opportunity for local TV to cry wolf, early and often. Stick to the National Hurricane Center guidance please.
Cute couple
In the spirit of Branjolina and Bennifer, newscasters need a shorter “couples nickname” for these latest storms. Maybe LauraMar? LauraMarcoVid?
Dear ‘No Cash’
There has been a coin shortage for months, and it is not getting any better. Banks are able to get limited coins and are rationing what businesses can get. The shortage is due to people buying more online and the fact that many businesses shut down early in the pandemic and that interrupted the natural flow of coins. We are headed toward a coinless and paperless money society. Get a grip, just use your debit card.
