Sound Off for July 19, 2020
Aquarium opening
August 29, 2005, a day which should be considered sacred and mourned for all that was lost. Not a day of celebration! What were they thinking?
Many Thanks
I now realize why Pepe’s is one of my favorite restaurants. Upon hearing that one of their customers had tested positive for COVID-19, they immediately closed, the owners quote “we’re grateful for the business, but you can’t put a price rage on anybody’s health.”
Do for yourself
In response to “still a shortage.” PPE’s are plentiful. Hand sanitizer, gloves and masks are available in local stores. These items are also plentiful and readily available on the internet. Why do you babies always want to look for others to hold your hand and guide you through challenging times? Stop blaming President Trump for your shortcomings.
Approval rating
Both Biden and Trump must understand the number one priority is curbing COVID-19! Everything else will fall in place with the ending of pandemic.
Do they have jobs?
These militia groups that appear whenever they hear of counter group’s appearance, must not have jobs! Who can just drop every and camp out at a moment’s notice?
So it goes
Richard Rose III, an Army veteran who spent nine years in the United States Army died on July 4th. He was still refusing to wear a mask three months before he died. He was 37 years old.
Under the bus
School districts are throwing teachers under the Covid bus! It is too soon to go back to a “traditional” school year. Having 30 in a room is dangerous and irresponsible. Students will be 3 feet apart (rear of seat to rear of seat). Moreover, hundreds of individuals will now converge in centralized locations. Parents have the choice to protect their children, but teachers will be in face to face contact with hundreds of students a day.
Thank you
Thank you, Sun Herald, at least you try to be fair, truthful and unbiased. And seem to be doing a pretty good job of that the majority of the time. My family and I appreciate y’all and love y’all.
