Sound Off for May 7, 2020
Follow suit
I applaud the mayor of Hattiesburg for implementing an order where by you cannot go into any business without a mask. I would like to see our Coast mayors implement the same policy. I have no problem getting masks. Masks are available. I have purchased over a dozen from a place in D’Iberville so I can wash them and have a fresh mask every day.
Can’t find masks
I am so tired of the people who submit their frustrations about people that don’t wear face masks. Did you ever stop and think about why we don’t wear masks ? If you were lucky enough to get one, good for you. I would be happy to wear one if you have one to give me or sell to me. Three weeks ago I ordered masks online from two different places. I have yet to receive them.
Following directives
This is in response to “Plan B” being worried about the one day increase in positive coronavirus tests. That occurred due to a data dump from some private labs around the state. Our state is doing quite well compared to some of the other states. The Gulf Coast has much less than central Mississippi. We are following the directives very responsibly here. Just use common sense. If you feel uncomfortable going out, stay home
May flies
What type of light can I use for reading at night during our horrid termite swarms?
Not insane
Someone who is focused enough to walk 8 miles with a mission and actually has the focus to carry out the mission is in no way insane. Are his five accomplices going to claim insanity too?
Trimmed
Do as I say not as I do. I notice that Tate, Hoseman, Gunn, Wicker, Palazzo all have nicely cut hair while mine is growing like kudzu.
Restaurant suggestion
Restaurants in Hong Kong give each diner a paper bag to store their mask in to keep it off of the table.
Favre and welfare money
Did Brett Favre know the money he got was illegally gained? Will he pay it back? Would he have paid it back had he and the others not been caught?
