Mask advantages

What’s good about wearing masks? If you are a mature adult, most of your facial wrinkles don’t show. For once, having big ears is an advantage. You can make a face at annoying people, without them seeing it. If you are a woman, no one will know if you aren’t wearing lipstick. .

Hippie image

I don’t understand why hair places of business can’t open. Require a mask of the stylists and of the customer. After over a month or so of not being able to get a trim is making most of us look like some of those characters on old shows like “Gunsmoke.” Come on Governor Reeves be reasonable on this matter. Lets get rid on this Hippie image in Mississippi.

Kudos

Kudos to Mr. Clark and Mr. Papaleo for their recent letters to the editor regarding the criticism of President Trump. Trump doesn’t get credit for anything he has done during his presidency. It’s difficult to comprehend the level of hatred that so many people have for our president.

Countless lies

What a shamelessly contrived recent letter by Will Clark criticizing Bo Alawine’s letter holding President Trump accountable for deliberately lying to the American people. As Clark knows, there is not enough space to even begin listing Trump’s cascade of lies in detail in a letter to the editor (limit 250 words). In his first three years as president, Trump has spouted over 18,000 lies (per fact-checkers), and adds more daily.

Benefits

To the person that wrote about our military having better benefits, if you believe being on the front lines having to defend yourself against unknown enemies, loosing limbs, eyesight, perhaps your life, is better benefits – being away from loved ones for months, years at a time – then send your son or daughter to sign up for these great benefits.

No loitering

What was Bay St. Louis thinking by allowing port-o-lets next to beachfront restaurants? Restaurants are supposed to be to-go orders only. Call your order in, pick up, and leave. Many patrons are eating their food onsite while others are hanging around drinking. No one wearing masks or social distancing. Rules need to be enforced!
