Sound off for March 12, 2020
Insanity!
Mississippi, what were you thinking? Re-electing the same Congressmen will never bring change. “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results” — Albert Einstein
Paper products
I don’t understand the correlation between the coronavirus and buying huge amounts of paper towels and toilet paper. Can someone enlighten me on this?
Infection
Because we have no real unions here in Mississippi, we have sick people going into work because they have no sick days. Because Gov. Bryant did not want to accept all of Obamacare (Medicaid expansion), we now have thousands of Mississippians who have zero healthcare. That means they will be infecting the rest of us.
Keep it at bay
Stay home, people. Most of us have food to last for two or three months, other than milk or bread. We aren’t new to this. Give it a try! Let’s keep this horrible virus off the Coast!
Stronger together
Many protocols to help identify potential coronavirus cases are being used. Should not leaders coordinate as one Gulf Coast to strategically bring down and possible missed points?
Initiative 65
Ocean Springs needs a mayor who has the ability focus on more than one agenda at a time, and although Initiative 65 hasn’t yet been passed, it’s already hindering his capacity to do so.
Town hall?
Well, it looks like Congressman Palazzo is going to get one last term and again probably not hold a town hall meeting with his constituents. He has gone 10 years without meeting his constituents but has been on the Coast multiple times for photo opportunities. I say “one last” because one of the promises he made when he first ran was he would only “serve” 12 years and then quit. He also claimed he would get rid of Pelosi.
The ghost appears
I see Palazzo had a victory party. Glad you got pictures. It will be the last time you see him in public until the next election.
