Place the blame

In response to “Who’s to blame,” when Gulfport purchased the new water meters in or about 2009, the city knew that the life expectancy of the electronic meter head was 7 years. The vendor is not to blame! At the very least, the city of Gulfport should have started replacing heads about 2016, instead of waiting until there was a major failure.

No record?

Bernie Sanders with all his years in Congress has never introduced any significant legislation, but now he wishes to be president of United States with no track record. Of late he has also been praising failed President Fidel Castro of Cuba. His delusional plans will cost $5 trillion. This is equal to the net worth of every citizen of the United States! Bernie Sanders president of the United States! Are you kidding me?

Only one year

Bernie says tax billionaires. Forbes listed the combined wealth of the 400 richest at less than $2.96 trillion. Seizing that wealth could fund “Medicare for all” for one year. Then what?

Social Democrat

First of all, I’m not a Social Democrat (whatever the heck that is!) although I consider myself a sociable person, willing to talk with others in a civil manner. Secondly, I listen to Limbaugh, as well as other commentators, to get the news from varied points of view. I watch all of the news channels on television for the same reasons. Everyone should try it. I can’t imagine what life would be like if I limited myself to the likes of Rush, Hannity and FOX News. BTW, I also follow POTUS on Twitter.

Time to shine

We all know of the socialist-Democrat Bernie Sanders’s admiration for Castro. Would one of the qualified liberals share with us MAGA Republicans his views on other brutal dictators? I mean Hitler created the first national highway system, Chavez nationalized (ruined) the mean old oil industry, and Stalin killed more than 20 million people, a form of dissident management. It would seem to me that in Bernie’s world these guys would really shine. Am I right?

Socialism

Communism redistributes wealth, not socialism. We have Medicare, Social Security, public education to name a few, which are socialistic in concept. Nobody is going to take your stuff and give to other people. As it stands, the 1% rich can buy all these things, but we have to struggle to get basic needs. But, hey, it’s your tax money and if you don’t want to use to benefit you, don’t complain.
