MDHS

As in all cases of state-run departments, once again they blatantly stole “taxpayer funds.” As with the Walkers and others, they will walk away without repaying when they have the means.

Outrageous

So millions are embezzled from Human Services and our legislators response is to go after the poor, the recipients? That’s is unconscionable.

Not so fast

Five years ago, Clear Water Solutions claimed they had fixed the nasty water problem in Gautier. Didn’t happen with that money and won’t this time. Another money grab.

Tax school

So funny to have a liberal explain how the tax system works. The catch-all phrase is always “their fair share.” Yet no one ever says what that share actually is. The dirty secret is that the fair share will always be a moving target. Our system of government rewards those who work, take risks and save for rainy days. The social Democrats simply want something for nothing and for misery to be evenly distributed by, you guessed it, the government.

Call Congress

The attack on middle and lower class continues as Trump cuts Medicaid in next year’s budget. Following the election he’ll cut social security and Medicare. And if you didn’t know, his staff proposed restricting military retirees from using base hospitals and pharmacies.

Popularity rising

Far and away, President Trump had huge crowds for his campaign rally in New Hampshire, while the Democrats could barely fill their smaller debate hall. Not really the most conservative state nor a GOP enclave. That ought to speak volumes to Democrats because they have thrown everything at Trump for three years now.

False narrative

Years ago my son, a straight-A student, with very high ACT scores, was selected to attend the Governor’s School, and came home with a paper of available scholarships. He was proud of how many he was eligible for. He noted that if he were black he would have been eligible for several more. Neither he nor I had a problem with that. I say this only to rebut the false narrative about scholarships.
