Caucus fracas
Will the Russians or the Ukrainians please tell me who won in Iowa? The suspense is killing me!
Not a good sign
The Democrats want to rule the country but they’re having a problem managing the Iowa caucus!
Not ‘not guilty’
William Rehnquist served on the U.S. Supreme Court for 33 years, 19 as the chief justice. He was a Republican and was appointed by Ronald Reagan. In a case where the question to be decided concerned the use of prior criminal conduct, he opined that just because a defendant is “acquitted” of a crime that fact does not necessarily mean that the person is “not guilty” but only means that the case against him/her was not proved beyond a reasonable doubt.
Over it
I am so over the Democrats going after Trump. Enough is enough. They have wanted to impeach him since day one. Let us, the people choose at elections time. Democrats need to concentrate on running our country.
Lock him up
How does the Gulfport man that was re-arrested and charged in two child sex abuse cases get out in the first place after five years? He was previously convicted on three charges of molesting a 10-year-old girl. Did the judge and district attorneys think he was able to be rehabilitated? This guy should have never been let out.
Name calling
Equating President Trump with Hitler? Really? This is so like the haters who permeate today’s Democratic left. They have been calling him names and started impeachment talk as soon as he was elected. The all know the good things he’s done for America even with congress working against him, and can’t stand for him to succeed. It is said, when a man starts to build something good, lesser men will try to tear it down.
Group think
To the German writer who survived Hitler and wrote in defense of those equating Trump-era to Hitler, I so applaud your insight. Every effort is made via their system of belief to rob all of us of our freedoms and punish us for not sharing their beliefs. This is the exact opposite of conservative principals.
Old lesson
This is regarding our president and his boastful speech. My late grandmother actually read her Bible, something in there about a haughty pride goeth before a fall.
Quote of the day
“The Democrats seem to be basically nicer people, but they have demonstrated time and again that they have the management skills of celery. They’re the kind of people who’d stop to help you change a flat, but would somehow manage to set your car on fire. I would be reluctant to entrust them with a Cuisinart, let alone the economy. The Republicans, on the other hand, would know how to fix your tire, but they wouldn’t bother to stop because they’d want to be on time for Ugly Pants Night at the country club” — Dave Barry
