Humans to blame

The statement that as many scientists say that humans are not causing global warming as there are saying that humans are causing it is false. Only about 2% of scientists are “unsure” that humans are the primary cause. And even they agree that humans are a major contributor.

Rulemakers

Interesting report on the year old U.N. Climate Change Conference held in Poland as presented by J. Catanoso. His credentials reveal a slant when it comes to reporting on climate matters. Here is my takeaway from the article. The summit’s purpose was to write rules that would slow “sea-level rise, wildfires, drought, dying coral reefs, erratic weather, climate-induced disease, and migration due to natural disasters.” I can write the rules on one sheet of paper. RULE: Blame the U.S. for all the above challenges. The end.

Real solutions

Europe signed the recent Climate Accord, Trump did not. Yet we do a better at reducing carbon emissions than many that signed on. Europe replaced coal with wood (they don’t even report wood-burning emissions) and now we find out wood causes 1.5 times the emissions as coal and three times that of natural gas. We are now energy self-sufficient by reversing Obama policy and utilizing our vast natural gas resources.

Neighborly act

I wish to express my thanks to a neighbor who sent his yardman to clean my yard after leaves from the neighbor’s oak tree covered my front lawn. This act of kindness is much appreciated as I recently had an incapacitating injury, and he recognized that it was his tree (after many years) that had fouled my yard. I hope that this encourages others that a little kindness and acceptance of responsibility goes a long way to build relationships between neighbors

Pattern

What’s wrong with these bowl game picture? Ole Miss wins Egg bowl. Coach fired. Mississippi State loses bowl game. Coach fired. USM loses bowl game. Nothing happens. Any input from from football fans? Who Dat Nation also.

Thank you

I want to send a special thank you to the radiologist at Compass Imaging in Gulfport yesterday who went above and beyond to make sure my 2-year-old grandson felt comfortable getting X-rays. She took the extra step to make sure he was not scared and he left saying “that was so much fun.” Thank you!

Most in prison

Education underfunded and our prison system the worst in the US where they are short staffed and workers are underpaid. Too bad we don’t have a better education system because we might have less citizens in prison. Education is everything!
