An observation

So much hate.

Bad idea?

In response to the person who thinks we need another casino-sponsored light display in Biloxi I ask, “What planet are you on?” Beau Rivage sponsored the beautiful MGM baseball complex. Other Biloxi casinos sponsor the symphony and a myriad of other venues. Don’t think every little municipality on the Coast needs the same attractions.

Opinion needed

I would like an oncologist to give his/her opinion on which organization is best to donate to for developing a cure for pancreatic cancer.

Over quickly

Hey, Joe Biden. Is it still “irrational” that the Texas governor signed a law this year that concealed permit holders could carry in houses of worship? And for all the other people who suggest alternatives such as throwing something at the offender, please realize the Texas church shooting was over in 5.1 seconds. Your best defense is a personal firearm, or others who are carrying in lawful self-defense. Period.

Getting clarity

For those folks who didn't think impeachment was supported, you should read the article “Guardian of the Year - The Public Servants,” in the Dec. 23-Dec. 30 issue of Time Magazine. The truth will give you clarity.

Come back

I would like to know if the people doing these mass murders have ever been exposed to Christianity in their homes. Christ has been taken out of our schools and government by all these liberal groups. Wake up America and come back to Christ.

Stamp designs

I am one of many who order stamps through the mail. I love the flag, but isn't time to come up with some other designs that would look better on birthday, anniversary or get well cards? I am sure others will agree.

To clarify...

Several have submitted Sound Offs asking what crime Trump has committed. The federal law prohibiting the solicitation of help from a foreign entity in any U.S. election is the felony which caused the initiation of the impeachment investigation.

Support needed

I realize people have to decide how they contribute to charities and institutions. I’m not trying to change your commitments. However Mississippi has a first class children’s hospital in Jackson: Blair Batson Children’s Hospital. A wonderful institution dedicated to the full medical care of children, much like Saint Jude’s in Memphis. Obviously it’s closer to most areas of the state and needs our support. Please consider your support of this wonderful hospital. Look it up on the Internet and its mission. You might be impressed by its history and potential future with our help and assistance.
