Light it up

After seeing the beautiful harbor lights sponsored by Island View casino in Gulfport last night, I really think the Beau Rivage and Hard Rock should partner together and sponsor the Biloxi Town Green.

A misquote?

Please tell me our governor was simply misquoted when it is alleged he equated the impeachment of Donald Trump with the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Never have I heard such mendacity from a state official. Surely someone quoted him incorrectly.

Not my fault

I just got my water and garage bill and it keeps going up. I agree with the person who wrote earlier about checks and balances. Something needs to be done. I can't keep paying the high bill. I live on a fixed income and especially when it is not my fault.

Win-lose situation

Although I am a Trump supporter, don't you think instead of saying Trump won this legislation or that legistation, you should be saying that Trump and Congress have cooperated in getting the legislation passed? Currently it is a win-lose declaration.

A force

It must hard on Trump’s ego, which is enormous, to be bested by a smart woman. Nancy Pelosi as a force he needs to reconsider.

The reason

The reason I am not a Trump supporter is not because of hatred of him. It is because of his hateful rhetoric and politics against citizens who do not support him.

Don’t do it

Some advice for anybody considering getting one of the "new" exercise bikes. Do not waste your money. Within a year it will be abandoned in the corner gathering dust. Once in a while someone will play with it for a few minutes and you will hold on to it for 10 to 15 years then finally get rid of it. A computer with someone screaming at you how great you are will not make it any less boring. If you'd like, when you run past my house, I'll yell “atta boy” at you when you go by.

The truth?

Whether something is a crime or not makes no difference for purposes of impeachment. Asking a foreign country to provide campaign dirt is an abuse of power and precisely what the framers of the U.S. Constitution believed would justify impeachment. In addition, obstruction of Congress is a crime. This information is available to anyone who wants the truth.

A blueprint?

I don't know who said it but I heard if the Republicans win in 2020 they are going to rewrite the Constitution since nobody follows it and nobody obeys their oath of office. They are going to use Russia's as a blueprint.
