Bad timing?

I went to get my car tag this past Friday and the office was closed for the “holiday”. There were several other people who were also trying to get their tag while I was there. Since the office was closed and it was the last day of the month, I had to go online to renew my tag and incurred an additional expense for using a credit card. As a taxpayer, I think that the tax collector office should have been open, especially at the end of the month.

Paper bags

Plastic bags should be banned. I miss paper bags. They are totally biodegradable as well as recyclable. Walmart duped us. Plastic bags are one of the biggest contaminants, as bad or worse than plastic straws. Let's bring back paper bags.

Go Bulldogs

Great game. Went down to the last touchdown at the Egg Bowl. Great leadership by Rebels seniors. Thought Ole Miss would pull it out in the closing seconds. Heard a fan shout, "one two three, pee." Guess it wasn't meant to be. Go Bulldogs.

Don’t do it

Liquid nicotine is a poison. Why do you want to vape and continue to suck it into your lungs? Why do you want to suck anything into your lungs at all. Polluting your lungs with anything is sure death.

The economy

Today's economy originated in late 2010, a result of the recession-recovery act passed earlier that year. Trump took office in 2017. There have been no significant effects on the rate of change since he took office. Anyone with a computer can verify this.

The facts?

I wish people would fact-check their Sound Offs. The following are Sound Off subjects I have researched. If you disagree with me, please go to a fact-check site before posting a false rebuttal. Reminder: Fox News is not a fact-check site. Obama did save our economy after the 2008 crash, and his policies are still working today. Gun restrictions do save lives. Hunter Biden's job placement may not be ethical, but it is legal. Trump's children have made money because of their dad. There were 13 investigations of Hillary, and still she has been exonerated. The two men, Devin Nunes and Jim Jordan, whom have loudly vilified the impeachment hearings, are both under suspicion of crimes themselves. Russia messed with our elections. Ukraine did not.

A shame

We went to Centennial Plaza unday hoping to listen to Christmas music and enjoy the dancing fountain, but learned that they have not changed the music since they opened. It’s just a shame they are not changing up songs and colors of the fountain to match the seasons.
