Thanks, Cruisers!

What a great sight to see, the Cruisers parked at Dixie White Nursing Home. Awesome! Thanks for coming.

Good luck!

Good luck to the new Bay St. Louis police chief. He’s going to need it.

Remember Tebowing?

I seem to remember the religious patriotic right-wingers defending Tim Tebow’s right to promote his cause by taking a knee before NFL football games.

Why we stand

You shouldn’t have to force people to stand. If you are an American, you should know standing for the national anthem is because we are honoring the flag of freedom. We have every right or privilege in every other area of our lives to protest and be negative. Why take it out on the flag?

Bad service

Thank you, Gulfport, for keeping Waste Pro. I’ve only called for nine months for a new container because mine is literally cracked all the way down the front. Not only that but many times they miss my whole street. Wish I lived in the county now.

Us first

To get funds for Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Florida and Texas for hurricane relief, cease all foreign aid. Such can be resumed after these places have been rebuilt and people are able to again take care of themselves.

Were you listening?

I hope those NFL clowns (players, owners, coaches and commissioner) were listening to the president’s address to the first responders in Las Vegas. He spoke of and to true heroes, not a bunch of non-patriotic people that become wealthy playing a game.

The question

The Sun Herald showed a graphic illustration of the number of guns per capita in the United States and the number of gun deaths vs. other countries. Switzerland and Finland have half as many guns per capita but only 2 percent of the gun deaths as the U.S. Clearly guns are not the problem. What is the difference between the U.S. and Switzerland and Finland? Think hard before you answer.
