Flag idea

Why don’t we use the Bicentennial logo for our state flag? I think it is very stunning.

Same thing?

I have been reading a lot about how President Trump is down in the polls. I wonder if these are the same people who said he was down in polls at election time.

Reaganism

Hillary Clinton has a book explaining how she lost. President Reagan said, “Politics is not a bad profession. If you succeed there are many rewards. If you disgrace yourself, you can always write a book.”

Great work!

The Hancock County Tourism office is doing a great job. We need to support them and give them praise for letting all our tourists know about our county. Even one of the tourism bureau’s employees is up for citizen of the year. Support our Hancock Tourism Bureau. Write our supervisors and support them.

Thanks!

Many thanks to the well-coordinated response to an accident that occurred at Washington and Bienville on Aug. 11. The Ocean Springs Police, ambulance personnel and Ocean Springs hospital ER performed like a well-trained team. Thanks also to the witness who was an eyewitness and reported to the police saving any discussion as to liability. Well done!

Yankee luck?

So, am I the only one to notice that every time one of the lottos get super huge it is always won by a ticket purchased in a Northern state? What’s up with that?

Fix this

Every day I get caught at every single light on Washington Ave. in Latimer/Ocean Springs. Will someone please fix these lights? Frustrated doesn’t even explain how I feel. Traffic is beyond terrible everyday because there’s no flow. Who do we have to talk to get this fixed? Come here at 5 p.m. every day, you’ll see for yourself.
