I’ve seen a lot of crazy things on the national political scene, and I’m hoping we can avoid that here in Biloxi, but things just aren’t adding up:
Mayor Gilich wants Paul Tisdale as the city’s chief administrative officer, and Paul seems to be a capable individual. He has served our community well. He’s looking to serve without compensation, saving the city more than $100,000 — and it’s only guaranteed from now until the end of the term in July 2017, which is less than a year.
What on earth could be the problem? Biloxi City Council, please approve this so that we can move forward. Give Mayor Gilich his choice for chief administrative officer, Paul Tisdale, and give the taxpayers (and voters) a break.
