Support our police officers

I am confused about where our country is heading.

I note that police officers are placed on administrative leave for shooting and killing a person with a gun who is shooting haphazardly. If that person were to try to break into my house, I could shoot and kill them as I feared for my life and my family's lives.

Are our law enforcement officers supposed to read minds? I don't know of any courses teaching that subject. What I'm really afraid of is they may not be in any hurry to arrive when called in the future.

It is time we support our law enforcement officers, not the criminals. A rattlesnake doesn't know who to bite, so we shoot them to protect ourselves.

How are our police officers supposed to know the mental state of the person shooting? How many people have to be shot before law enforcement can shoot?
