Pay attention to youth-geared groups

Good for Catholic Archbishop Robert Carlson of St. Louis for asking parishes to be wary of where many Girl Scout leaders are directing young girls.

In examples, Archbishop Carlson cites feminists Gloria Steinem and Betty Friedan for pushing the agenda of scout-affiliated organizations like Girl Scouts of the USA and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.

It would be wise for all Christian groups to closely monitor all organizations that gain access to our youth.

The Archbishop's concerns are most warranted!
