ROBERT J. WEIERMAN: Harrison County deputies deserve a pay raise

I am writing this in support of Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson.

I totally agree that our county deputies should be paid more. They risk their lives every day for us, and we should show our appreciation by supporting a raise for them.

We expect a lot from them, and they provide us with the protection we need and expect in any type of situation and are always there when we call.

I would please ask our supervisors to come up with a much-needed raise as soon as possible.
