DICK VERMEULEN: Why not to elect another Democrat president

A former member of a European parliament said that what's wrong with America isn't Mr. Obama, but it's the people who voted for him. I agree.

I am not going to list all the mistakes the present administration has made during Mr. Obama's two terms. Instead, I am going to give my reasonings why we must not elect another Democrat for the next presidency:

-- We must turn this country around and make it where countries like Iran will not embarrass us to the point of making our military men and women cry -- while videotaping it so that the rest of the world can watch. These people were transiting and not engaged in any operation. They should have been immediately released, and Mr. Kerry never should have apologized to Iran.

-- We need to stand up to Russia and China. We must make it known to North Korea, in no uncertain terms, that it is following a dangerous path, and it will suffer severe consequences if it ever attacks South Korea. This includes even a single shot, as it will provoke our wrath!

-- We need to stop the illegal immigrants from coming here immediately and make those who are here work.

-- We must stop our budget deficit from climbing.

-- We need to bring our country back to greatness and stop making it the laughingstock of the rest of the world.
