SCOTT McINTOSH: Governors' refugee refusal is embarrassing

As a citizen of the United States, I am embarrassed that our Republican governors would attempt to deny Syrian refugees into their respective states.

This country is founded on immigration, and values diversity. An official ban on the immigration of Syrian refugees is the most un-American concept I have ever heard of.

As a formerly proud American, I hang my head in shame.
