JIM HIGHTON: A thoughtful note 'From Zach, the garbage man'

I have a small sign on my fence stating that I am a WWII veteran, and I am 90 years old.

The garbage man gets out of the truck to return my can each and every time. He left a note on Veterans Day that said, "Please tell the big guy thanks for his service on Veterans Day." The letter finished with, "From Zach, the garbage man."

What a nice thing to do.
