WAYNE ARONSON: What's with the Confederate flags, Cruisers?

It's been shocking to see the number of Confederate flags flying up and down U.S. 90 during Cruisin' The Coast.

Just what message are the flag-flyers trying to send? Has Cruisin' now become part of our "Southern heritage?"

Is this now Caucasian Cruisin' The Coast? I thought this was an event for everyone who enjoys vintage cars. Perhaps I was wrong.
