Views from readers: vaccine mandates + our country + walking
A bad call
I think it’s absolutely insane that President Biden is forcing people to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Are you kidding me?
My advice to the people is do not let Biden or Anthony Fauci scare you into getting the COVID-19 vaccine. It should be the choice of the people, not the choice of a liberal who doesn’t care about the American people.
And Biden doesn’t care. Not one bit.

My choice
I am vaccinated by my own choice. I oppose mandates.
My question is: What is being done to ensure that stockholders of companies are vaccinated as well?
I am concerned that this mandate discriminates against employees and ignores ownership.
Maybe someone can clear that up in a news story.

Slanted reporting
Once again the liberal Sun Herald missed the mark in trying to convince its readers that only Republicans refuse to get the vaccine and it is these Mississippians who are causing the COVID-19 virus to spread.
The paper never mentions the 1.73 million immigrants that have crossed the southern border this year.
The Biden administration has done just about everything possible to destroy America to this point. Yet there’s nothing but praise for the president and the Democrats in Washington, D.C., from the Sun Herald. There is never a bad word for the Biden administration’s dismantling of our energy independence.
Let’s be clear. America is still a free country, at least for a little while, and if people are willing to lose their livelihood over a vaccine then they have that right, regardless of this paper’s left-handed opinions.

How do we know?
Consider this: Groceries are up over 5%. Fuel costs up over 30%. Homelessness is overwhelming many major cities. Murders continue to climb in urban areas, housing cost are skyrocketing and illegal immigration is up over a two-decade high. The national debt is continuing to climb by trillions of dollars.
What hasn’t changed is politicians misrepresenting the facts to support their “truth.”
Congress is looking out for special interests, not the majority of the citizens. The media is expected to provide propaganda for the administration’s proposals. The news of the day is doom and gloom.
No one is reporting the facts, but their “truth,” whichever side you are on. Polarization is getting worse.
But why would the millions of people come legally and illegally with all this going wrong? Because ... with all of our faults, we are still the greatest symbol of freedom and liberty you see in the world. But our future is uncertain if we continue this way.
Facts are facts. The “truth,” like “beauty,” is in the eye of beholder.

Take a walk
Get ready. You are about to start your walk this morning.
Get up and put on bright colorful clothes, because you are about to walk to your grocery store, drug store or farmers market.
Start walking. Then, as you see vehicles pass, say, “I love you.”
Yes, you can say it to yourself if you are shy. This is the reason for the walk.
If someone talks to you, then respond in a positive way, a friendly way.
If someone offers a ride, then explain to the person that you are in the process of an exercise, but write down the experience.
If you are sad or depressed, take the walk today and remove those feelings for better feelings.
Today is the perfect day. Now is the perfect time to change any negative thoughts of hatred and prejudice.
Now, talk to people who don’t look like you do. Open your communication for understanding and friendship.
